Day 1: Fly to Pisa

You will fly directly to Pisa Airport, where you will be met by your Topflight tour guide and directed to your coach. You will be transferred to the beautiful Hotel Croce di Malta in Montecatini Terme, where you will stay for the duration of your time in Tuscany. For those arriving in the morning, you will be invited to enjoy some brunch at the hotel prior to check-in at 2pm. There will be a meet and greet with your tour guide later in the evening, enjoy an aperitif followed by a 3-course welcome meal at the hotel for group arriving in the morning.

Day 2 - Walking Tour of Montecatini

After breakfast, you will be invited to accompany the group leader on a short tour to familiarise yourself with the beautiful town of Montecatini, a quaint and authentically Tuscan spa town, with a peaceful pinewood park right in its centre.
There will then be some free time to allow you to have some lunch and if you feel like continuing the exploration, your guide will lead you to the lovely Medieval village of Montecatini Alto via the historic funicular which is payable locally.
You will return to your hotel to spend the evening as you wish. Group that arrived late the previous day will have a welcome meeting by the tour leader, followed by a 3-course welcome meal.

Day 3 - Tour of Florence

After breakfast this morning, you will meet with your tour guide and board a coach which will take you from Montecatini to Florence, the capital of Tuscany. Here you will meet with a city tour guide who will showcase the cultural metropolis that is Florence.
The Cathedral of Florence dominates the city scape and the beauty is sure to impress you. You will visit some of the city’s most interesting sights on your guided tour and afterwards, you will have some time to explore the area on your own time. Perhaps you’d like to explore the beautiful shops, enjoy an espresso or aperitif or savour a classic Italian lunch, it’s up to you.
Your coach will return you to your hotel and you will spend the evening at your leisure.

Day 4 - Andrea Bocelli in Concert

Spend the morning however you wish but make sure to enjoy a good hearty breakfast at your hotel. Today is going to be a great one!

You will leave Montecatini in the afternoon and be transferred to the idyllic and utterly beautiful Tuscan countryside. En route to the concert destination, guests will be treated to a pre-concert dinner in a typical Tuscan restaurant.

Afterwards, you will be brought to the concert venue. This is the show you have been waiting for - the magnificent tenor Andrea Bocelli opens his home-town’s doors for an incredibly unique experience. This is the 19th year of this spectacular. The theatre here holds only a couple of concerts by Bocelli in the summer and then falls silent for the rest of the year, giving it its name ‘Teatro del Silenzio’ or the Theatre of Silence. Be a part of this atmospheric and jaw-droppingly beautiful performance while enjoying the magic of the Tuscan countryside and its surrounding enchanting hills. The combination of such natural beauty and Bocelli’s music and voice will be an absolutely treasured experience. The concert is one of the official celebrations of Bocelli's thirty years as the most beloved Italian tenor. As this performance marks this 30 year milestone, Andrea will be joined on stage by some very special guests from the world of the the international pop and opera music scene to give this evening an extra special element of uniqueness and intrigue.

After what is sure to be an incredibly moving show, your coach will return back to your hotel. As this is a late transfer, you will be provided with some fruit and water when you arrive back to the hotel.

Day 5 - Day at Leisure

After yesterday, a long but exhilarating day, you will spend today at your leisure, relaxing and enjoying Montecatini at your own pace. Perhaps you will choose to make the most of your hotel’s excellent facilities and take it easy by the pool or even indulge in a luxurious spa treatment. However you wish to spend your time is up to you.

Day 6 - Lucca & Pisa

This morning, after breakfast, your guide will escort you to the coach where you will be transferred to the fascinating walled city of Lucca. Here, a city guide will meet with you and take you on a walking tour of this gorgeous Tuscan gem. You’ll take in the fabulous piazzas and the beautiful buildings and monuments of this walled town which is also home to the famous composer Giacomo Puccini. After your walking tour, you will have some free time to explore Lucca for yourself.

In the afternoon, the coach will transfer you to the iconic city of Pisa. Known throughout the world for its spectacular square, the ’Piazza dei Miracoli’ or Miracle Square, you’ll find the Leaning Tower dominating. You will have some free time for photos and a little exploration here and the coach will then transfer you back to your hotel in time to spend the evening however you like.

Day7 - Day at Leisure

You have another day to take it easy and enjoy the slower pace of ‘la dolce vita’. Why not sample some of the town’s local trattorias perhaps, or stroll through the town’s park stopping for an aperitif along the way.
If you still have a thirst for more exploration, the train station is within easy walking distance and from the hotel and from here, you can take the train to many of Tuscany's beautiful cities and towns.
To celebrate the last night of your stay, you will enjoy a 4 course evening meal with the tour group at the hotel’s wonderful restaurant this evening.

Day 8 - Return Home

After breakfast you will check out of your hotel and board the coach which will bring you to the airport for your return flight home.
