BLUE LAGOON

The Blue Lagoon is considered one of the New Wonders of the World. Enjoy a relaxing visit in the geothermal waters rich with three active ingredients – Silica, Algae & Minerals. Located between KEF Airport and Reykjavik it’s the perfect way to start or end your journey in Iceland.

NORTHERN LIGHTS EXCURSIONS

You are about to embark on a mission to see the Northern Lights, which are undoubtedly one of the most beautiful celestial displays found in nature. Northern Lights are best displayed under dark, clear skies. It is therefore important to leave the city lights of Reykjavik. We offer 3 types of Northern Lights excursions from Reykjavik and we highly recommend the Cruise option:

WHALE WATCHING (2,5-3,5 HOURS - up to 5 hours in Winter)


Season: All Year
Enjoy a half day Whale Watching cruise from Reykjavik city center. Minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and sometimes humpback whales, killer whales and even Fin whales give us the chance to enjoy and understand them in their natural environment. We offer a variety of Whale Watching every day of the year, even a Midnight Sun whale watching option in peak summer season. Seeing whales cannot be guaranteed.


RIB BOAT WHALE WATCHING (1,5 – 2 HOURS)

Season: 15 April – 30 September
An exhilarating express tour, this is a small group tour only 12 people per boat with specially trained whale guide and certified RIB Boat captain. Search for the wildlife and explore seas on the adventure of a lifetime. Our RIB Boats get you closer and faster to the whales and puffins than our bigger boats. These stable and safe boats also allow us to search a bigger area, thus increasing your likelihood of viewing whales, dolphins and birdlife.
Seeing whales cannot be guaranteed.


PUFFIN WATCHING (1 – 1,5 HOURS)


Season: 01 May – 15 August
The tour is a fun and easy adventure on a boat. Our captain and guide will take you to either Akurey or Lundey islands which are well known for their plentiful birdlife and in addition to puffins you have the opportunity to view other birds such as eider ducks, arctic terns, guillemots and cormorants.
 

GOLDEN CIRCLE CLASSIC (7,5 HOURS)

Enjoy a full day visiting 3 of Iceland’s most popular attractions. Today you will explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Þingvellir National Park, follow in the footsteps of Vikings when walking down the lava canyon where the American and Eurasian Continents have dramatically pulled apart. Watch the infamous Geysir erupting, home of the one-and-only original geyser and Iceland’s most iconic natural attraction. Walk down to Gullfoss Waterfall which is a magnificent sight to behold. All this in under 8 hours!


GOLDEN CIRCLE & SNOWMOBILE (11,5 HOURS)

During this tour you will explore Iceland’s 3 top attractions: Þingvellir National Park, Geysir erupting hot spring and Gullfoss Waterfall. Adding to those beautiful sights you’ll embark on a once in a lifetime experience; snowmobile on an Icelandic Glacier. We will transfer you to the Glacier in a Monster Truck, get you dressed and ready and then snowmobile for 1 hour on the magnificent Langjökull Glacier, Iceland’s 2nd largest glacier. Adding the snowmobile experience to your Golden Circle is highly recommended and you’ll never forget it.


ICELAND IN A NUTSHELL (8 – 9 HOURS)

A full day tour in our modified super jeep, you explore some of Iceland’s hidden gems such as Þingvellir National Park, Kaldidalur (“Cold Valley”), Langjökull Glacier, go into a lava tube cave which is a place of stark, dark beauty and once an outlaw hideout, Hraunfossar Lava waterfall, Historic site of Reykholt, Deildartunguhver which is the most productive hot spring in the Northern Hemisphere, ending the day taking the scenic and historic Hvalfjörður fjord back to Reykjavik.


SOUTH COAST CLASSIC (11 HOURS)

The South Coast of Iceland is a place of dramatic and versatile landscapes. This tour takes you to Seljalandsfoss & Skógafoss Waterfalls, Sólheimajökull Glacier and Reynisfjara, all the way to the small village of Vík. Take the opportunity to walk behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall, touch an Icelandic Glacier and walk on our black sandy beach of Reynisfjara. If there’s a clear day you will see Hekla Volcano and in the distance the glacier-capped Eyjafjallajökull Volcano.


SOUTH COAST & GLACIER HIKE (11 HOURS)

Enjoy the breathtaking sights of Iceland’s South Coast filled with waterfalls, volcanoes and glaciers. At Sólheimajökull Glacier we will gear you up with crampons, helment and axe and take you on an unforgettable hike on a glacier. Our highly experienced guides tell you everything you need to know about the formation of our glaciers and the effect of volcanoes and glaciers to our magnificent scenery. Please note that the glacier hike is done instead of a visit to the black sandy beach of Reynisfjara.


INTO ICE & LAVA (11 HOURS)


The ice tunnel or ice cave is a man made glacier cave high up in the remote highlands of Iceland. Your guide will explain how global warming has begun to affect the glacial environment and take you on a magical journey deep within the glacier. You get to see stunning blue glacier ice and wonderful glacier formations. After our ice cave tour our next adventure is the beautiful Víðgelmir Lava Cave. Your cave guide will show and explain the amazing features of the cave, e.g. the wonderful colours, lava stalactites and stalagmites.


SNÆFELLSNES PENINSULA (12 HOURS)

Spend the day in Snæfellsnes National Park, often described as “Iceland in Minuature” for its diverse scenery. You´ll see the mossy Berserkjahraun and visit Grundarfjörður fishing village where Kirkjufell mountain rises from the green hills, surrounded by trickling rivers. Our next stop is at Djúpalónssandur, a beautiful black lava pearl beach. From there we go to the village of Arnarstapi, where you have a breathtaking view to the Snæfellsjökull Glacier.


BUGGY ADVENTURE (3 HOURS)

This 1 hour guided Buggy Tour is a unique way to enjoy Icelandic nature yet starting off only 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavik. Strap into a two-seat Buggy with your partner and prepare to overcome obstacles in the rugged landscape by the slopes of Esja Mountain, climbing hills, running through river beds and much more. This Buggy Tour is for those who crave bumpy, dusty, dirty driving thrills, while getting up close and personal with nature. No extra charge for dust, mud, water splashes, or even snow!


LAVA TUNNEL (3 HOURS)

Explore the magnificent lava tunnel Raufarhólshellir, one of the longest and best-known lava tubes in Iceland. It is located just 30 minutes from Reykjavík and is easily accessed year-round. A journey into Raufarhólshellir is a unique experience and a great opportunity to witness the inner workings of a volcanic eruption as one walks in the path of lava that flowed during the Leitahraun eruption, which occurred east of the Bláfjöll mountains about 5200 years ago. Every winter spectacular ice sculptures are formed inside the entrance of the cave making the experience of visiting the lava tunnel even more breathtaking.


INSIDE THE VOLCANO (5 – 6 HOURS)


Season: 10 May – 31 October
The dormant Thrihnukagigur volcano is a unique natural phenomenon. By setting up the necessary gear and equipment, we’ve created a tour that opens the door to a new world. The tour involves a moderate 45-50 min (3km each way) hike to get to the crater, then you descend 120 meters to the bottom of the crater in an open cable lift. You spend about 35-40 minutes inside the volcano before heading back.


SNORKEL IN SILFRA (5 HOURS)

Immerse yourself in the clearest water in the world and float between two continents in Iceland! The astonishing clarity of the water reveals a mesmerizing underwater world full of colors you don’t see above the surface. Silfra Fissure is created by the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates cutting through Iceland, and it fills with glacial water that has been filtered underground for decades through hardened, porous lava rock. A snorkeling adventure in the famous Silfra Fissure is an unforgettable experience.
